ChainStretcher turns 30!
​ChainStretcher is an annual festival bringing together mountain biking enthusiasts, racers, thrill-seekers, and outdoor lovers for an unforgettable celebration of adventure, community, and the thrill of the ride.
CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE
Party
Hang out at the festival village, enjoy food & beer from local vendors, test ride demos, and play mini-games for a chance at prizes.
Ride
Join a group ride to meet others in the MTB community and explore some of the region’s best tech.
RACE
Test your fitness and skills and participate in our XC, Marathon, and Enduro races. A $60 registration fee helps support WMBA.
VOLUNTEER
Support your local MTB community by helping with festival setup or day-of operations!
The FESTIVAL Village
This is where it all happens. Surrounded by the Start/Finish loop of the race course is the Festival Village (entry is FREE), where you can find:
Group Rides
Starting at 8am, organized group rides will depart from the information kiosk in the festival village. Rides will have designated leaders and routes and cater to riders of all skill levels. Check the day-of schedule to see when each ride is leaving. Get out and meet some new riding buddies!

Races
Test your fitness and skills with XC and Enduro races. $60 reg fee helps fund trail building and maintenance in Westchester and Putnam counties. Teams or individual racers can purchase a tent space inside the festival village (on BikeReg) and have a convenient home base to set up their gear and hang out pre- and post-race.
